- You have to set up the serial settings (i.e. baudrate, handshaking
- etc.) correctly by using the serial preferences if you use the serial
- interface for printer communication. Look into the manual of the
- printer. If you don't have it, then play around with the serial
- settings. Normally you have to set 8 bits, no parity, one stop bit
- and RTS/CTS handshaking for serial connections. AFAIK, the LaserJet
- communicates with 19200 baud, but I'm not sure, so experiment with the
- baud rate first.
